2 outstanding D performances after the first day.
Cole Hutson with 5 assists for USA in a blowout against Germany, and a hat trick plus an assist for Sweden's Axel Sandin-Pekkilla in their win against Slovakia.
Of course you got the Finnish part of the two-part surname of the Swede wrong.

McKenna looks legit.
Bedard's cousin so he might bust too

Only got to snag Canada v Finland today.

Anyone know if there are any replays? I was looking on NHLN and it looks like they've only got replays of NHL Tonight and On the Fly scheduled to roll on the night shifts all week. Any chance these get uploaded to YouTube or will that be just limited to highlights?

Toruń, PL
@S E P H you really didn’t like Schaefer last night?

@SoundwaveIsCharisma loved him.

:popcorn:
Oh, no. I didn't hate him by any means. I just don't see the first-overall hype everyone is claiming he is.

I admit I haven't watched a lot of him in the OHL since I don't really have that much free time anymore, and this tourney is not a good judge of talent, but I just don't see why teams draft minute-muncher defenceman first overall. EJ, Ekblad, Power, and Schaefer—they are all cut from the same cloth IMHO. Top 5 and 10 worthy for sure, but not 1st overall worthy.

I kind of wish Natural Stat Trick would cover the World Junior games the way they cover each individual NHL game. I'd love to see some of the Corsi, Fenwich, xG stats for some of these players.

Ritchie just got mauled down to give Canada the PP. Schaffer looked like he got hurt crashing into the cage.
