Stupid matinee games.

Any news on Laine? Like anything? Or is this going to be a mystery wrapped in enigma until after the warmup?

Dobes in net, as discussed to death earlier to day. I smell shutout.

I'm eager to see how Dobes will fare with an NHL defense. It's been much better on D since adding Carrier (2-1), it will help for sure.

I thought Carrier was acquired to play with Hutson, but I suppose the team wants one offensively charged pairing, and a smooth skating defensively responsible pairing.
Guhle/Carrier is basically shutdown pairing against the harder opposition. Hutson gets the most ozone starts from all the Ds and Matheson is in-between hard match-up and easy minutes.

But MSL should probably play different pairing in away games, it's much easier to exploit Hutson/Matheson when you have home advantage and it's usually on away game that they struggle, not at home.

Dobes starting today. I'm gonna go ahead and predict Habs win with Dobes stealing it. 3-2 for the boys.
If we have any hope at all we have to remain disciplined Florida typically take a lot of penalties.
A hot power play is our best protection against getting run out of the building.
I can't count how many games I've watched in these past three seasons where teams would abuse us with no fear of our PP.

F*** Florida Go Habs Go

Laine and Hutson have changed this PP so much. It's a beautiful thing to see!

It always seems to me that they get very few penalties.
