It’s like Träff and Granberg ahead of Eklund in the pre tournament games. They got exposed and Eklund got slotted in.
Now altörn likely won’t get exposed it’s Kazakhstan. But he I’m guessing it’ll still be apparent that he’s not exactly a third liner or really even a roster player here.

Hopefully he gets exposed badly enough for Hävelid to feel forced to call frondell. Or even Dower Nilsson for that matter.

I did like him getting his first shift on a 4v4 draw that immediately lead to a GA.

He has been decent on the season as a whole though not that bad in his d-1 season with like five million small injuries.

We might have a golden opportunity now if we keep our heads straight for the last two games of the groups. With Canada losing to Latvia, I think there are more likely scenarios that we can avoid playing either them or the US until the finals.

We need to take in a replacement for Berglund cause with his injury and Altörn on roster we are basically down 2 players already.
Altörn with sixth most ice-time among forwards last game, all 0 stat-line. I remember one hit though.

Looked solid, made a couple nice plays. Haven’t faced any real pressure though.

Atleast it’s someone. Bit disappointed Frondell had the potential of being the second line center that they need.
Funny, actually saw him travelling a couple days ago, since I assume he went home for Christmas.

Don't hold your breath expecting our dear coach to put him at Altörns spot. If he didn't orignally select Nordh I wouldn't expect him to get that role now either. Maybe if Altörn gets exposed against Czechia, but I doubt it.
