I like him, he gets ragged on because he’s different and seems to have wacky personal beliefs. IMO, he’s interesting, hope he blows us away this season.

I like him too.

But I also wouldn’t be crushed if he brought back a legitimate difference maker, obviously as part of a package.

Guerrero for him and one (only one) of their 4 best prospects and I’d be fine with it.

Me too.

He's a genuinely kind kid. He likes to sunbathe. Paint his nails. Visualize his at bats. He's harmless. With the Sox team devoid of any personality other than Duran, I really hope he stays, stays healthy, and has a monster of a season!

I don’t care about liking. He is a pain in the ass who is about himself and not wanting to make the sacrifice for a team.

Throw all the stats at me you want. He is not a winner

It’s a little early for me to give up on him……but I’m also not one to fall in love with prospects/young guys because of how many times I’ve been “Lars Andersoned” in the past.

If he’s here and turns out to be a good player, I’ll root for him. If he goes and brings back a good player, I can live with it.

TBH, a couple of years ago, I took the position that Duran was going to be out of baseball by now, and look what he turned out to be?

Not saying last year could never be an outlier for him, but I’m about a million times more confident in him than I was 3 years ago.

He loves himself and the sound of his own words. I would not mind a trade for pitching in the least. However, considering Mayer is now taking grounders at second, I think this cheap greedy ownership has failed to make an important trade. SCREW THEM.
Who loves themselves ?

He’s also a regular at Dana Faber, Food Bank, visiting elderly

Maybe he should hate himself and do nothing but complain about everything you would feel a bond

so Guerrero holding things up ?
I live close to Toronto and I can tell you that the Blue Jay fan base would go crazy if they trade Vladdy.
They recently spent 300 million in renovations and can't risk attendance taking a dive.
IMO a great deal hinges on if the Jay's resign Bo Bichette ( Vladdy and Bo are very close friends).
If he is not staying, will be each easier to get Vladdy.
There will be many teams lined up to offer a kings ransom for Vladdy, highly doubt the Jays trade him to another AL East team.
The time to have traded for Vladdy was after the 2023 season, his WAR went down to 2.0 that year.

I don't love that I'm way more annoyed by Sasaki passing up on hundreds of millions of dollars by not waiting two years than I am by him obviously signing with the Dodgers. I feel like I'm going crazy.
