Fangraphs must be predicting a major fall off for Jarren Duran. They have him as the 100th best player going into 2025. That or they are a Yankee homer. They have Austin Wells, Anthony Volpe, and Jazz Chisholm ranked higher.
Even if he's half the player he was last season, he's better than those 3 hands down.

Just a strange projection from them.

mind blowing that an AL east proven front end starter is sitting there just requiring cash and they have no interest in spending. i don't buy he'll only go to the west coast, money talks

I buy it. Speculation out of Toronto is the Jays have the highest offer on the table but Burnes is using it as leverage to see if the Giants can offer him something comparable.

Realistically he should have been signed already given how fast the market moves after the winter meetings. This doesn't usually happen because no one is interested.

I buy it too and I think you nailed it with your post. Burnes probably has a handful of teams he wants to go to. Giants, Arizona and TX probably. Toronto is being used as leverage.

Texas still doesn't have their TV contract sorted out, so they're probably out for the time being, but once they get that resolved I think they might be the dark horse here.

Sugano landed in an excellent situation in Baltimore. He's become more of a ground ball pitcher in recent times and with the infield defense that the Orioles have, he will be a nice veteran piece to have in that rotation even if Corbin Burnes doesn't return to Baltimore.

At least he hit somewhat well for a guy with a shoulder injury all year that ended up requiring surgery

I would be fine removing but healthy I will take the April-June 2023 guy

Sounds like Sox got a couple of big moves coming
Bellinger can play all OF positions / 1B and DH, Yoshi can only DH, so I would predict it is next to impossible to trade Yoshi, unless:

1) we take back a worse contract.
2) have to include a top 10 prospect

We are stuck with him.

Hope we have more moves coming. We need to spend some money. Getting Teoscar would fill a huge hole for a RH power hitter.
Our dee needs to be upgraded as well. I love the idea of moving Devers to 1B and bringing in Bregman or Arenado.
