Chara, Zetterberg and Price are my top picks of the class I think
Not that it's going to matter but I'd have Thronton as 3 and Price at 4 as my prediction is that Keith also gets in as well Zetterberg just doesn't have the counting stat peak/prime argument although I'd make the argument that he has a ore HHOF worthy resume in some ways than Price.

Cal my prediction wishful thinking  I forgot about Keith though.

Look at boris mikhalov or Vladimir krutov their not in krutov i'd imduct as a buikder cuz he was only in the nhl two years but waa z key part in tge 84 and 88 olympic gold wins, i want your'e personal opinion who would between the two youd induct kovalev or mogilny, and fedorov and bure werent on that 88 olympic gold team. I mean the Olympics where professionals played in. Unless you are Tretiak or someone like that, the World Championships or amateur Olympics are not something that help you get in the HHOF. Tretiak never had the luxury of playing in the NHL so it is all we have to judge him by, and even then a lot of it is based on his best on best play. It doesn't move the needle one way or another if Mogilny was on the 1988 Olympic team.

I don't think tretiak was on that 88 team. Fetisov and makarov were.

No, I mean Tretiak was on previous teams and that is among the things that he was judged on for his career. We couldn't judge Tretiak on his NHL career because he didn't have one. But we can judge him based on his Canada Cups, Summit Series, Olympics, Worlds, battles against NHL clubs, etc. Because that's all we have. Mogilny being on the 1988 Olympic team when it wasn't a best on best isn't something that really boosts his HHOF chances.

Lou lamourello said without mogilny we don't win the cup in 2000

New Jersey had to win a game 7 by a single goal (on which Mogilny got an assist) that year, the list of things you can say they do not win the cup if they do not happen or X was not there would be quite long.

They still win
He had an assist on the winning goal of a 2-1 game 7 win, I am not sure we can they win or don't, hockey is quite a bounce to go either way type of cup win.

But that a level of we can say that about any devils players that played minutes that year, like anytime a team had to go to 7 to win the cup.

What I mean is that he was replaceable that spring. 7 points for 12th in scoring on your team in the playoffs isn't a deal breaker. It isn't as if he was a defenseman, or was physical or brought other elements to the table that were valuable. Defensively he'd be fine but everyone was fine on the Devils defensively. He had one more point than defenseman Colin White. I'm just saying. He had one point in a sweep vs. Florida. 1 point in a 6 game series vs. Toronto. 3 points in a 7 game series vs. Philly. 2 points in a 6 game Cup final vs. Dallas. They won in spite of him. And this is supposed to be a prime Mogilny.
