@Jumptheshark & the Edmonton Oilers are up.

Another Knight I could see the Oilers adding to the stable.

Oilers take with their final pick and 3rd goalie of the draft(we only had 3 picks)

With their final pick at 223 the Canes select big, mobile and athletic d man that Pronman has ranked at 63 (!) and the 7th best skater in the draft ahead of Michael Misa (!?) ....

Agreed. He played down on a stacked lineup and put up decent numbers. Will be interesting to see how he does as one of the leaders next year. Over half of that starting lineup has been drafted to the NHL.

@Jumptheshark & the Edmonton Oilers are up.

Love this pick in the 7th, I'll echo Soli that he definitely fits the Oilers MO.

As a whole, I feel like this group drafted incredibly well this year. There are only 3 guys who went unpicked I'd have on my draft board:

1. Ludvig Johnson: overage Swiss defender who played well in their top men's league this year. Solid 4-way skater and has great vision. By far the top guy remaining on my list.

2. Jackson Crowder: won't be more than a 3rd/4th line guy if he makes it, but he can drop the gloves, has underrated skill, and improved after his trade to the Steel this year.

3. German Suzdorf: 6'7 Russian center that is excellent on the dot and has good defensive habits. Production was similar to 6'7 Prokhorov this year, who's getting 1st round hype (which I think is crazy tbh). Suzdorf would be a good pick from the 4th onward IMO.

Curious to see if any of these guys get picked. I'd invite them to Seattle's camp if that's allowed :)

You’ll have to fight me for Johnson and Suzdorf… Tanner Lam and Shawn Carrier are a few others I have time for as late rounders, and Linus Feldbergs is going to get drafted as a goalie in the later rounds. Noah Tegelaar is my huge dark horse as a goalie this year.. very interested to see if he can compete at a higher level, because he crushed it in the OJ this year.

Team effort with @DrDrai who began picking for the Capitals. Kindel would've been my pick as well, and I like the direction he went in for the next couple picks too.

Well that's a wrap on another HF Oil Mock Entry Draft. 24 days to make 224 picks. Not a bad pace. I'd love to cut the clock in half, as this ties up a good portion of my day refreshing and trying to keep the board up to date, but this mock draft is the only reason I visit this site anymore, and I thouroughly enjoy it. Thanks to everyone who helped out, whether by taking on extra teams, DMing managers when someone couldn't, or @McDNicks17 and @Soli for helping keep the draft board up to date.

Good luck to all on your quest for HF Oilbleeder Award when the actual draft commences.

Go Oilers!

My All-Time HF Oil Team (played in NHL games only, still many prospects to crack this roster):

Phillip Kurashev - Jack Drury - Jesse Puljujarvi
