I feel like the krejci comp is very much trying to tie one of Krejci's best qualities to a real criticism of O'Brien's game and saying they are the same style wise.Who is the O’Brien comp? Krejci?

A fair bit of sports is honor/integrity and Bennett and Tkachuk have less than zero of it.If they are winning, and they are, why do they have to "answer for it"? And to whom? If "answering for it" doesn't help them win, why bother, regardless of whether it offends the sensibilites of some fans?
Again, doing this at this stage of where the Bruins are is crazy. To move from #7 to #2 if Misa is available...
Pick #7 + Lysell or Minten + Toronto’s 2026 1st + St. Louis’ 2025 2nd
Too much? Not enough?
A bigger Krejci who some think will be a better playmaker than Krejci. He’d be luckyto surpass Krejci’s career but that’s what you’re hoping for. More of an 80 point player than a 60 point player. Probably lower goal totals than Krejci despite the higher point totals.Who is the O’Brien comp? Krejci?

I think it's fair value, but I like the idea of including a player instead of Toronto's 1st. Alan Ryan suggested Lohrei. 7th overall, Stl 2nd and Lohrei for 2nd overall? To move from #7 to #2 if Misa is available...

Had he played in the OHL instead of college that same year, likely he scores 40-50 goals and 50 or so assists
People need to clam down.
Now if he goes 0 - 3 again this year I’d start to get concerned, year 3, 1-4 goals , less than 10 assists, be assured he’ll be no more than a bottom line pivot
Jury is very much still out
Imagine they got parise and bergeron in one f***ing draft
Or Corey Perry.
Lucic - Krejci- prime Perry would have been terror
Not sure about Minten but Lysell should have made some sort of impact at this point in time. If Sweeney could pull this off he would be a legend. I just don't see Lysell as being a valuable asset in any deal for a 2nd round pick. Especially for a player like Misa.To move from #7 to #2 if Misa is available...

This yours? You got my Bruins second round sleeper at 10Top 10 mock 6/14
1. Schaefer
2. Misa
3. Martin
4. Desnoyers
5. Hagens
6. Frondell
7. O'Brien
8. Martone
9. Aitcheson
10, Zharovsky
If Martone is there you run upWhen I read the mock drafts I'm seeing Porter Martone drop to the Bruins at #7 because all the top tier centers are taken. How do you guys feel about this winger? Is he more NHL ready than the second tier of centers like Martin for example?
“He’s really hard to defend. Martone’s bag of tricks is seemingly endless. He’s able to feint and misdirect with nearly every part of his body. Better yet, who needs a bag of tricks, when you can just bulldoze your opposition instead? That’s the challenge OHL defenders have to deal with every time the 6-3 Martone has an offensive opportunity.” – David Sadd, Dobber Prospects
“I think his defensive game has taken nice steps forward this year, too. His skating still leaves a bit to be desired, I don’t think it’s going to hurt him at the next level – he’s so good with and without the puck that I think he’ll be a 70-plus point power forward.” – Steven Ellis, Daily Faceoff

I love Misa. I would give up a lot to get him.
So obviously we are all just opining based on limited knowledge, but I’d argue ANY player in that top 6-8 is worth moving up for if your scouts think they are first line centers. The only player worth moving up for is Michael Misa. I wonder if San Jose is open to trading down. They really want a left shot defenseman and the Islanders aren’t trading the first overall. It would be a waste to pick Jackson Smith at 2, so moving back to number 7, picking up some assets and still getting your guy would be a good move for them.

I’d do that in a heartbeat.Colorado up against Cap
Landeskog fingers crossed back his contract added back in
Still would not rule out 7 going to Colorado for Necas

It’s all about top 6 where it’s got to be skill dominatedSo obviously we are all just opining based on limited knowledge, but I’d argue ANY player in that top 6-8 is worth moving up for if your scouts think they are first line centers.
For example, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Bruins felt only Misa, Hagens and Frondell were first line talents, as examples. If you feel that way, I think you try to move up once two are off the board.
I thought his skating on bigger rink and against pros and NHL players in IIHF was pretty goodI don't love Martone, and think he was overrated earlier in the process. But I do think if he falls to 7 you almost have to take him. He has work to do, needs to get better on the skating, etc, but he is such a good passer and has great hands. Maybe he will develop more of the PF game as time goes on.
And I do think he is closer to playing in the NHL than most
Actually, what the Sharks really want/ need is a RD or twoThe only player worth moving up for is Michael Misa. I wonder if San Jose is open to trading down.
