Whoa cowboy

If Brady Martin is drafted by the Bruins I expect him to be much better then Sam Bennett if we don’t count the last 3 weeks a complete anomaly

Bennett averaged 26 points his first 6 seasons

He cracked 50 points this season (51) first time

He plays with likely first ballot HOF Matt Tkachuk

He had a 15 goalless steak of no goals and 1 assist this season

He didn’t even bring back a first when Calgary dealt him available to 30 teams

I drafted him in the SIM 10 years ago and wanted to strangle him - I considered him a bust and traded him after 3 years

Brady Martin better be better than the first 7 years of Sam Bennett
Sorry sam Bennett is a legend and possibly might win the con smythe trophy this year. If martin is 20 percent of him that's still pretty good.

Bennett is the name everyone is talking about but honestly I think the better comp for Martin is Konecny.

Konecny had almost the same ppg in their draft years. I think Martin projects better as a winger anyways, where he can just focus on getting in on the forecheck as much as possible. Both right handed, both gritty.

It feels like Konecny keeps on taking a step every year but I see a more physical pre-extension Konecny. I think it's a heck of a player.

I didn’t watch the Oilers until this series, but from what I have seen Trent’s been invisible.
Second goal by Nurse he didn’t get an assist but he factored significantly in the events immediately leading to the goal

He also crushed Reinhardt in the second with a huge hit and Reinhardt was definitely shaken up not sure of any residual

He’s been overall not sticking out ~ apparently still playing with the injury suffered in Boston

Curious what he gets in the end

He will probably get a big goal coming up like Podkolzin did tonight

Definitely can see that - I said the wing part to a scout who watched him at U18 live the entire tournament and in OHL and he was emphatic he’s a C and a really talented one - who’s got a lot of room to grow

From 4 on I’ll be listening for his name

FLA took note of that hit on Reinhardt and were targeting Frederic afterward. Thought he had a good game last night - physical, good on the forecheck, got a few shots off and didn't give up anything defensively. Not sure what more folks could reasonably expect from a 3rd line player in the Finals.

That one he almost inadvertently kicked in that hit the post probably would have counted. That would have been a huge one.

How hilarious would it be if Frederic pulls a Mike Rupp and scores the game winner in game 7 ?

I’m here for it ~ Florida delivered their first to Boston now to see them knocked out in game 7 works for me

Florida losses do we get Brad tears after on the ice before he handshake line ?

I will feel bad for Brad if Florida loses. That said I will feel worse if Florida wins, because so many of those guys are POS

I love Brad as a Bruins and enjoying him in these playoffs and if he was on Edmonton I’d be rooting for him

I rooted for Florida for 3 rounds - and 3 wins in the Finals. I hope Brad gets an OT game-winner Tuesday night.

Or a Max Talbot.
