If the Bruins trade down, he would be a guy I’d like to see them take, but if one of those top forwards are there at 7 I can’t see them passing on one of them.

I can’t remember such a wide variance at the top of the draft. It’s the kind of draft where San Jose takes Desnoyers - something weird like that.

I think he is 3-4 best offensive player. To me Misa, Hagens and OBrien are going to have more career points. I guess time will tell though. It is possible for McQueen to become the best player in the draft I just don’t see it. Misa is on another level and I think Hagens is going to be a weapon at the NHL level. OBriens passing highlights are ridiculous. You have to check them out if you haven’t. I think he will be a far better playmaker than krecji ever was.

Martone, but I’m warming up to the idea of McQueen every day

I was reserved in my opinion of McQueen due to medical reports. That issue appears to be debunked due to his performance in the various athletic drills that he was required to perform during the Buffalo convocation.

Looking at the film of the media coverage of his games, granted most were of highlights, I am duly impressed with his skating and passing skills. Hope the Bruins scouts have taken notice and the GM considers him in its #7 discussions.

Man oh man that draft was devoid of top end talent . Not that there weren't some good players, but I don't think there is anyone likely to be a hall of famer, and maybe only a few who ever get more than a handful of votes. Some decent depth of good players.

You could say the same thing about Letourneau. Huge reach, soft hands, beautiful skater.

If Letourneau can ever put it all together he has the same unique qualities as McQueen.

One thing I liked about Letourneau from the start.....he's doesn't look awkward at all. The coordination is there for such a tall player.

Those are some pretty awful comparisons. Not surprised from EP but still.

I like will horcoff in the 2nd round. Big athletic, defensive forward that has a high floor as a bottom 6 forward. Thats sweeney and neelys guy

I’m in on him as well, but we’ll need a higher second to grab him. If you can’t afford to move to Nesbitt, he’s the guy. He’s an intriguing pick option to pair with Hagens/Obrien if you like McQueens size but not his risk.

Pair him with Amico on the backend, and as Paul Maurice would say “they can hold hands at center ice and still patrol the boards”.

For me and I am not an expert Desnoyers.

Feel very confident Desnoyers will have a 10 year NHL career.

Hagens may be the better player or he may be a bust .
