I dont think so, they clearly stated, that the 3rd goalie will be from Europe ... plus he is without contract

Its a bit of a pun on the last year where some of our bottom 6 NHL or AHL players only got one game and then Rulik was like "eh, not good enough" and sent them home lol. And then a heated discussion here on the forums emerged, whenever he gave those players a proper chance or not, and if it was a stupid decision or not to not include them.

Of course we in favor of those NA players had to eventually apologize to Rulik and other posters here and aknowledge that he knew what he was doing all along lol.

So just a little joke intdended on that situation last year. I am sure he will get both games and believe he will be good enoug to make final team. Lauko too, he is looking good so far.
 
As for Voracek I was really suprised and its amazing he is there, but he was not listed to cover any of the WCH games no? Or did something changed?

For Olympics maybe as a 3.

For here. I doubt it. Not cause he's not good enough. Just because we have a cemented 1 in vej. Backup is vladar. We are pretty set with a euro at 3.

Btw Rulik will announce who will join the team from the ELH finalists teams. Who do you think it will be?

I think

Pardubice: Cervus, Sedlak (if healthy), Zboril, Hajek, Kondelik and maybe Smejkal?
Kometa: Flek and maybe Scotka, Zabransky, S.Stransky? I would also love to see Postava, but I have a feeling that the GKs are already set and it will be Vej, Vlady and Korenar

No, I am sure that he is not going with Czech TV to Denmark, he will be only here in Brno. Only reason he was doing games last year is because WHC was in Prague. Not sure about Francouz, or if someone new will be there.

That's way too many players, not gonna happen. I think that Rulik stated in some current interview they are planning to invite 5 players from Pardubice/Brno.

So that is Cervus, Sedlak, Zboril, Hajek, Kondelik and Flek .. yeah its six, but five of them was there last year, so they are pretty much locks imo

So yeah Cervus, Sedlak (yeah), Hajek, Kondelik, Flek .. no Zboril .. but I kinda thought he will not be there since as tade mentioned Rulik said five and he was the odd one out ... dont mind it tbh .. I know czechboy will disagree, but he was never anything special

So the D: Hronek, Spacek, Krejick, Kundratek, Kempny, Hajek, aand Gazda and Tichacek?

Given the final additions from europe I would say the final lineup can look like this:

Klapka - Cervus - Pasta
Zadina - Sedlak - Necas (yes I believe in that lol)
Stransky - M.Spacek - Flek
Lauko - Kondelik - Beranek - Vozenilek (subs: Chlapik, M.Kovarcik)

Krejcik - Hronek
Kempny - Spacek
Hajek - Kundratek
Tichacek (subs: Gazda)

Vejmelka
Vladar
Korenar

This looks damn good, sure D will be a weakness on paper, but if the guys like Krejcik, Kempny, Kundratek can pull of same performances like last year it can be solid. Hronek and Spacek already looked great tonight.

I know I am a bit of a pessimist here on the forums, but this doesnt look half bad. Yeah on paper its not as strong lineup as what USA, Canada and Sweden will bring, but with masterclass Rulik on the bench and a bit of luck, this team can medal again.

This may be a hot take, but I really think that right now, we have the best euro players in the world.

I would seriously put Klapka in there ... we would have a top sniper in Pasta, great playmaker in Cervus, and big strong guy who can cover it in the back and at the same time can do a lot of damage in front of the net in form of Klapka .. ideal line imo

I'd take Cernoch instead of Kondelik. It's pretty unfair take Kondelik straight to WCH. He isn't same level as Červus, Flek and Sedlo.

And don't forget Pyrochta. He is Rulik's favorite player and I really like him too. He has most games played in NT this season from all players.
I see him 50:50 with Gazda for 7th spot. Or one of them will go to WCH (player out of roster waiting for his chance) and will be there like Ščotka last year 😜👍
