Lock is Jiricek if he can stay healthy
Next is Jecho IMO
Than Stancl and Kos

I hope they ALL make it but St Louis is doing a lot of good things!
Stancl is one and maybe even two standard deviations ahead of Jecho IMO. Jecho skates like a harrier and Stancl controls the middle of the ice, great hockey IQ

Stancl has 17 goals 20 assists in his last 23 WHL games and WJC, that is a PPG of just under 1.7. Compare that to the leaders in that league and you will see how good it is

He is in the middle of making the leap. He has 10 goals in his last 8 games and easily, easily could have more. He's dominating every game I see him play right now

I read he had 5 points the other night and that Cristall was traded so he's the guy now! I love it. A shoot first guy is always nice to have!

Jecho is a year younger. We will see how it ends up. I'm fine if both want to become full time NHLers.lol

Iginla is also on that team but out for the year. They traded Price away too. However they got Will Sharpe back, not a bad return.

I watch both Edmonton for Jecho and Kelowna. I like Jecho plenty, I just am saying I see something special in Stancl. He is 1st round talent in a redraft. Hopefully Jecho follows in his steps and makes his own leap

Do you think Larys could make the team?

I'm a big Stancl fan and am hoping it works out for him. He's already played pro in Europe so I'm hoping he can make the AHL team next year and start making some inroads to the NHL.

Redraft will be interesting! From a Czech perspective, all these guys have at least a hope in hell!

Sale certainly looks great in his D + 2
Hrabal is looking sensational and got a shutout in his first game back to NCAA
Dvorak is a few years away but he should be in consideration
Felcman is a big body in NLA and may become a bottom 6 pest for a few years
Stancl is looking damn good as a 4th rounder! I'd say ahead of the curve
Marcel is another big boy who could become a bottom 6er
Port is a classic big body shutdown D guy.. might eke out a 5/6 role

OR

none of them make it because Czechs don't convert at the best success rate.lol

I moved up to PNW region and was talking with the Seattle board about their prospects. They have only got about 5 casual fans on their subforum who are daily fans but have no depth past NHL, so they literally don't know their own prospects, and thus without any grounding assume any ding reported on any of their prospects is trolling. (If their board is that lame they don't deserve their prospects watched, it's just the Kraken anyway). I can tell you they all but had Sale as a bust coming into this season. Sale had a strong WJC. Is not as good as Stancl, as Sale isn't as defensively sound at all, but Sale has higher end skating skill. I wouldn't even hesitate about which I prefer though for the NHL. Part of that is remembering Michal Handzus

I can see someone like Vaclav Nestrašil making the team. He’s 6’5” and he’s got some skill too. Really picking it up in the USHL right now.
Craig Button actually has him ranked in 2nd round.
I'm starting to think we will have a few nice draft surprises. Czechs seem to show up as the season progresses.

Cihar should be top 100
Psenicka could be top 100
Galvas may get taken this time
Nestrasil should be top 100

4 nice bonuses if it actually happens

The coach remains with the team. Someone may not agree with that, but it's perfectly fine with me. He has done a good job so far, two medals is an excellent achievement.
