This is a projected for fun roster from a poster I enjoy!

Obvioiusly they are looking for a younger team to build for the tournament after this. Also doesn't think we will medal this year but this would make us stronger for the next year.

I like the thinking but disagree as I think we could medal this year and love the looks of our roster for THIS jrs. We'll never ice a roster that screams gold at a U20 but I feel we can ice 3 consecutive rosters that should win more than they lose and can cause some trouble and medal.

It could look something like this. But personally, I think that there is no great effort to get Benák and Novotný into the team. So at least I don't see any statements from the coaches in this sense, they are just very vague wording, but that's about it. At least that's my personal feeling.
And about Badinka.. There will still be a lot of fun here, although those affected will probably not have much fun. In my opinion, their relationship is not in order, Badinka is constantly apologizing to the national team, before that Augusta ignored him and Badinka was probably offended.
Well, in any case, according to paper assumptions, the team does not have a medal, although I am not saying that it cannot win it. Realistically, they have a much better chance in a year.

My dream would probably be the Slovak game. But I'll be in Quebec skiing by then.

Mind you they beat us at U18
.. so watch us beat a power house team and then lose to Kazakhstan... It is the Czech way!

Excellent! I don’t live particularly close to the venue, but anyone here that wants to go to a game together, can meet up at my place ahead of time for some Czech food and drinks if you’re interested.

Also, not entirely sure which games I can make this year. I’ll be in Alberta for Christmas with my wife’s family. I would like to be back for Kazakhstan game but worst case I’ll make it for Slovaks.

In order I'd say Mrtka as a 6/7 but that's assuming they all show up... Eg. Our d should very easily be galvas, port, Dvorak, badinka, jiricek, fibigr and koci. But their will be an ommision or decline. Maybe a riser in CHL or Extraliga.

Titlbach maybe... He is like domink Petr . Plays well for us but not sure he will ever see the NHL.
Don't know enough about svec.

Few things on this. Most of our best guys aren't in Europe and not eligible. Given that, this is still a nice looking roster. No Badinka worries me... I just feel like there is a friendly decline coming up.

Cihar is having a really nice start.
Galvas should be a lock (despite NHL not wanting him)
Skok is a long shot
Mrtka may be a first rounder buy may also be a long shot as our D is good.. I hope he makes it
Novotny, Sikora, Metalarsky, Felcman and Hradec could all be in final nomination.

No badinka gives Mrtka a good chance to make it. We will see. I'm hoping for badinka but I think you are right.. there is some argument going on.

I haven't seen Petr play for about two years.. But I think he has a great chance to make the team this year. What makes me sad is Pekař's points, but after the very lackluster performances at the HGC tournament, I expected it a bit. Again, there will probably be a lot of players here who were not long ago supports and I have quite a lot of doubts about how they will adapt to the new environment..
And Záhejský is injured.

When it comes to Pekař, some context is important because the Seattle Thunderbirds are a pretty awful team this year. Additionally, he was apparently injured at the HGC and didn't join the Thunderbirds until after their first couple of regular season games.
