AEW 2025 All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor #10: The Rise of Wheeler Yuta

Watching it back, the finish was clunky. Swerve sold the low blow, but the act itself wasn’t clear to the fans. The reaction to the pin was thus more shock that he went over clean than anger that he cheated.

Overall, not a bad segment on the show.
 
Sting has been in the front row at recent shows - diehard fan or AEW plant for a Sting return? Not in a wrestling capacity but maybe tied in with Death Riders and not liking their actions. I thought this year or last year was going to be the final one he wears face paint.

The walkway keeps getting wider aka less seats in the rows of those floor seats. Sometimes less rows on the ramp side of the floor as well. I’m okay with whatever makes the venue seem fuller and the crowd louder. If they moved the ring closer to the end of the arena instead of having it near centre ice it makes for the appearance of a larger crowd. Some venues it’s definitely closer to the end than the middle.

This is the most interesting Hobbs has been to me. I'm pretty excited for Hobbs/Bill and I'm still holding out hope for meat madness at Revolution.

FTR had a package about going after the tag titles, so I guess they're not winning trios with rated FTR. So Cope may actually win against Moxley. Then again I don't expect Hurt Syndicate to lose for a while so maybe it's just one match then they go back to rated FTR wins trios from Death Riders.
 
They didn't job out Undisputed kingdom but I never thought they'd win

Just happy they're doing something with the trios again
 
Spotted Colton Gunn and a blonde at the bar at LAX (Mariah May?).

I wonder how that travel works. You would think a charter, but the schedule is so limited that it might be more efficient to let the talent fly commercially from their home bases.

Either way, bless them. That was a rough trip and I took the one stop route via Fiji. The non-stop was 15 hours. They’ll be feeling it next week.

I think they’re just supposed to beat everyone’s ass, which is what they were doing at one time, but they couldn’t keep Danielson as a heel so they abandoned it.

Not a bad seat in the house.

You won’t see it on TV: Tony Khan got a very mixed reaction. I presume the unhappiness is less online bullshit and more how the venue change was handled. From what I read, no refunds were offered.

I can’t wait to watch it on TV. Inside, it felt on par with Backlash France. The locals, aside from Fletcher, were red meat.

Australia deserves another one, just marketed differently next time.
