AEW 2025 All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor #10: The Rise of Wheeler Yuta

Copeland is winning trios title, not world title, and Jay White is probably involved so someone almost Australian can lose at Grand Slam, plus the tweener won't be the guy to take down big bad faction. So Moxley could be champion a while. I've still got mid 2025 as about the time they put the belt on Ospreay, although they also built the Allin thing.

Pretty nice Collision winth Takeshita and Shibata match, Toni revealed to be the world's greatest actress and Big Bill Hobbs beatdown.
 
I may be getting my hopes up but besides the obvious singles match between Hobbs/BB, are we gonna revisit the Meat Madness idea that fell through last year?
 
Agreed on the sentiment about Collision. Great show this week, probably the strongest Collision I can remember. Felt like a great winter months wrestling show. Don't know why, but it did.

Claudio needing help from Yuta AND Moxley to defeat JJ..... Seriously? I wonder what blackmail material he has on Khan that precipitated this JJ run, lol

I dunno, I didn't feel he "needed" it. Came off to me as a statement...that said I understand how it was taken that he did...

But like I said, I don't get this when Dustin is basically doing the same "last ride" gimmick...that part is dumb

But every company has 1 or 2 storylines that make us go "wut?" Hopefully it goes away after the march PPV

I was down for making JJ's final year something fun. Chasing the world title is a bridge or 5 too far in my opinion. I feel like him and Lethal chasing the Hurt Syndicate or something could've been fun and easier to stomach.

I highly doubt he ever gets the world title but I don't have too much of an interest in seeing him do his big chase.

Not only that, but JJ and Lethal winning the tag titles for a super short run is perfectly believable. Have them drop to the bucks or FTR, where you know the match will be 20+ minutes of excellence and have JJ go out with a loss and a smile.

Presumably Harley vs. Mercedes

I’ve read some negative sentiment about it being a TV special. Yeah, but it’s a loaded one. The locals should eat up the Aussies (+ Jay White for the Kiwis) on the card in major matches.
