Pittsburgh Penguins Press Release

Pittsburgh Penguins President of Hockey Operations Kyle Dubas announced today that he is stepping down from the role of General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

"By stepping away from the GM role, it will allow me more time to focus on the broader picture as President of Hockey Operations. I have no doubt that under this new leadership structure, Pittsburgh will have great success!"

In his place, Dubas announced the hiring of Pittsburgh's 13th General Manager in franchise history:

"Lyle brings a wealth of experience and brand new perspective to our organization, and we are excited to see the direction he will be taking us", Dubas said.

Have received several offers for Elias Pettersson but nothing I’m willing to pull the trigger on. Leaning towards moving Miller if either at this point. If you’re interested, shoot me a message.

Habs are continuing with their rebuild plan and have the goal of being a bubble team/in and out of the playoffs throughout the year next season.

Not looking to do anything too dramatic but open to hockey trades. Looking to add a third line center and a bottom pair RD as well.

We are thrilled to announce that Ivan Demidov has signed his ELC and has joined the team in Montreal!

We have also re-signed the following RFAs:
Rafael Harvey-Pinard: 1 year, 900k
Jakub Dobes: 2 years, 900k
Xavier Simoneau: 2 years 800k
Sean Farrell: 1 year 775K
William Trudeau: 2 years 800k
