Hawks say yes easily, don’t think Tampa does thoughHoward for Kaiser straight up if Howard will sign with hawks this offseason. Do hawks say yea?

I’d say yes. Either Korchinski, Kaiser, or EDM.Howard for Kaiser straight up if Howard will sign with hawks this offseason. Do hawks say yea?
Looks like just once, the 2023-2024 Under 20s.David Carle coach him as well?
Maybe the comp for Howard isn't Korchinski but its rather Toronto's 1st, what did McGorty go for? mid round 1st? Like you said, TBL might want the draft capital, and if you want to give them a forward piece maybe Reichel is a guy they'd have interest in as well as the draft capitalWow Howard may be gettable. I would think Tampa wouldnt mind some 1sts to trade at the deadline the next few years. They dont have any anymore.
Even if we dont get him now we may get him for free next year...
Kaiser Nazar Moore Levshunov Hayes Rinzel James all guys hes played with and plenty of opportunity.
Reichel + Florida/Tor 1st?maybe more likely Florida's 1st. the Toronto is in a weak draft and they cannot us it in trade.
I am not using Korchinski to get Howard. McGroarty/Yager deal certainly does give us a baseline on potential cost for a disgruntualled 1st rounder. McGoarty is a pretty significant upgrade in prospect over Howard. Higher pick, bigger, some possibilty of being a C verses only a W and instead of a good and then really good year in Howard's 2nd and 3rd years of college, McGroarty had similar years in his 1st/2nd years of college without the clunker Howard had in his 1st.Maybe the comp for Howard isn't Korchinski but its rather Toronto's 1st, what did McGorty go for? mid round 1st? yeah I've moved to using the Toronto 1st and Reichel for Howard...McGroarty trade is the baseline compI am not using Korchinski to get Howard. I am offering whatever of the '25 Tor 1st, EDM/Allan/Kaiser, any 2nds, or some of the F prospects down the list a bit.
the issue with Reichel is they cannot fit him on there roster and they cant assign him to the AHL without losing him. if its a signed player he needs to be waiver exempt.Reichel + Florida/Tor 1st?
they don't have the cap space to take on another player on there NHL roster that is why they are not able to sign Howard and let him burn a year.why would they not have a place for Reichel? I know his production here hasn't been what was expected but he's not that far removed from a ppg player in AHL, he's cheap and top 9 upside, maybe they find something and if not then they still have the 1st round pick as the main piece of the return
Lee will be 35 next season why are you so gung-ho on getting him lolKorchinski for Howard
Lee for Reichel +?
Marner 14 million x 7 Years
Orlov 6 million x 2 years
Lee-Bedard-Marner
Howard-Nazar-Bertuzzi
Teravainen-Misa-Mikheyev
Slaggert-Dickinson-Foligno
Veleno
Vlasic-Rinzel
Orlov-Levshunov
Kaiser-Murphy
EDM/Allan/Crevier
Dealers choice of Allan or Kaiser with a 2nd (or even a pair of 2nds if neither are our own) would be a big win for us. That probably gets you to a fair value of a late 1st, but not sure Tampa goes for that approach of more quantity than necessarily quality. I suppose it will depend just how backed into a corner they are and what other offers may be out there.I actually wonder if TB would have interest in Reichel for Howard considering he's cheap for another year, an NHL player and they are up against the cap. I'd prefer to move a position of strength which is one of the young d-man (Allan, Kaiser) for Howard though. As long as the "character concerns" check out (which I think were way overblown in the first place. Front offices hate hockey players with personality).
