I think LK will be just fine. Just didnt wanna pay what Niagara was willing to accept it sounds, and I get it. Guelph maybe did, and I get it.
Not really about lovsers at this point, as the seeason is yet to play out. Lots more moves, surprises and disappointments to come.
London are losers in this. Keep grabbing depth top 6ers instead of actual superstars

Ok, if you say so.
Ill just say I think LK will be just fine with or without a deal with Niagara (Notice I said Ithink, and since a deal ain't happening according to a few posters i resoect, no one will ever know if LK were losers, including yourself cause its all speculation, that cant be measured....what was the cost to acquire, how does it affect the room, how else could those assets be used in terms of on ice for LK or trade now or down the road, future seasons, teams goals for this year......)
Is Nia a winner in all this? And how?
Maybe they will be, maybe both will be. maybe not.
Ill let the season(s) play out based on experience before claiming such things, as sports in general and especially the O are always full of twists.

Ohl scoops believes Guelph will send Will McFadden and Layne Gallacher plus 3rd..4th..and 5th for roobroeck
Really surprised at not getting one 2nd. Guelph has 4. Even a 2030 one would've been decent.

Obviously tough spot as he will only go to a few teams, but definitely thought he'd warrant a little more in return.

McFadden/Gallacher won't be bad additions just neither is sure fire to be a legit top-6 talent.

Here is what I project our lineup looks like prior to the import draft.

Hull - Edgar - Read
Mcfadden - Gallacher - Hage
Smith - Langdon - Galiyanov
Monks -Lewandowski - Merrill

Flora - Hewitt - Knauft - Tang extra forwards

Spencer - Lappan/Import
Munnings - Cheynowski
Colosimo-Naish

Dell’Elce/Arnold 7D

Yermolenko
Haffner
Beaupre

Think we are due to trade one of our forwards now as hewitt probably goes to JR A/B. Hage is a depth piece but probably gets thrown high in our lineup, Dell’Elce who knows what’s happening with him. Merrill could play a year in jr but it seems like the IceDogs like him a lot so who knows.

I think both Mcfadden and Gallacher are fine 2nd liners. The issue is we don’t have much to play with them. Maybe Tang but don’t know how he fits with them. Hage is the only other option and he’s so poor defensively you can’t put him with another short player. I think this trade is more about building for the future.

Trade Edgar, Spencer, Hull, Gallacher and potentially Mcfadden at the deadline and that’ll give you a great draft cupboard for the future. Should be a decent team until the deadline. I love the Dcore especially if we take an import in the first round.

Leaves us in a position to bring up Justin Flora, Lee, Mullins, Hewitt, Trebicky, Tagliarino, Kaiser to fill our forward holes and for our D got Ali, Ross and Raymond.

LK will be just fine. Does the Niagara know what superstars are? They dont acquire many, foes that make them losers? Curious as to your thoughts on this?
Ill go out on a limb and say LK has drafted, signed more superstars without trades than Nia has had by any means over the last 25 yrs. And head to head when both teams are good n make deep PO runs?

Hopefully LK are as big as loser as last years FA depth signings which returned a 2nd, 3rds, 4th, 5th rd picks, a player that may make team this year in a limited role, a player that highly likely wont sign, a top 6 F that ate minutes and helped insulate a retooling team after a great 3 year run and a bottom 6 F.
If these depth top 6ers for free pan out as well as assets its a good thing for LK.

And hopefully Nia gets a half decent return eventually for RR and he has a good seasonin the O. Niagara fans needs a break after the last run of years. Hopefully they get 1/2 or more of what you posted originally London n others would have to anti up or Nia should let him walk to school for nothing.

If Tang actually signs I put him where Hage is and move everyone down one the imports will be interesting before the trade today I thought it was a garantee they take one maybe even two D now I’m not so sure

I think we should definitely take a RD in the first round. Replace Reisnecker in our depth. That gives us locked in 4 defenders for the next 2 years and a locked in Right side for the next 2 years at least.

I agree about tang. Wonder if it’s better if he plays another year in the USHL playing with Kaiser and Ali. Since we aren’t doing anything this year anyways
