I have a friend in the Owen Sound / Barrie region who told me that Stan Butler may be the next coach in Niagara. He said people around town say that Dale and Stan are close from their years together in the OHL.

He did not believe it, but now?? Is it possible?
God I hope not. Overrated and he plays boring hockey.

Stan for all the years he's coached does not have a very good record of sending guys to the show. The ones that had really good careers weren't with him very long.

0 Championships in almost 30 years of coaching.

I HATED watching Barchs team so I’m happy he’s gone HOWEVER this would be just as bad if not worse

Great article by BP Sports on the IceDogs.

The article confirms that the league is now running the IceDogs and that DD has no involvement in the team.

This is what GM Dale Degray had to say:
“I report directly to the league, namely Jason Diplock. Currently, ownership has no veto power on trades or hockey operations. Ownership is not involved in the day-to-day operations of the team, so all my transactions and decisions get approved at the league level.”
