2025 - 2026 Flint Firebirds Season Thread, Part I

So I’m curious as a Bulldogs fan why the trade of Lappalainen if you the Firebirds have many holes at forward and he’s only 17? In Brantford we did a similar trade of Christie who is also 17 who could be a very good D but we have no spots with some returning D and free agent signings. Did Brantford over pay or maybe there’s behind the scenes stuff where he wanted a different opportunity?

The firebirds are positioning themselves for a run at a wide open west division.

I like the addition. Late birthday 08. Next year will be draft year had a respectable 13 pts in 34 games this year

Any thoughts on Flint's U18 draft picks. I'm curious if anybody thinks either of them make the team, and wether we will see either of them in the OJ next year, Pittman is more likely with Young likely being a CC guy.
