I still expect Soto stays there but the roster is still not exceptionally great. They'll have a hard time getting through teams like Baltimore/LA if they make it here again

Yeah plus his actual decline should start soon, it not looking likely he'll get a ring.

Can't wait for the Dodgers to pay infinity gorillion dollars in the winter to land Sasaki and then inexplicably sign Juan Soto because lol f*** you that's why.

I think no production captures the winning moment like MLB does. Every player...every angle...the dugout...the management suite...

The reactions the moment the final out is recorded is right up there as my favourite moment of the World Series.
It’s that moment of the final swing/catch/whatever turning a mostly stoic bunch of focused players and dugout into a bunch of screaming kids running out there joyously. It truly is a great moment, like a split second full emotional release.

And you’re right, there is nothing quite like it, because it happens in an instant, unlike the usual of a game petering out in the NHL or NBA (assuming it’s not a buzzer beater or OT goal or something). It’s one of the things I love about baseball

If you're the Mets/Phillies/Dodgers you really have to question if 500 mill is logical given he cannot really play defense, but he should remain an effective hitter for 6-8 more years

I remember the Joe Carter home run, I watched it go over the fence and it zoomed to Carter celebrating around the base after. The home celebration and mob on with from his teammates were spectacular.

Yankees had this in the bag and fumbled it severely, Cole just collapsed in the 5th inning.
Too many mistakes.

What's gonna happen now with the Yankees screwing up game 5? They have to watch the Jets on Thursday Night Football.

Cole was fine until his defense decided to completely shit itself. The "collapse" came because Boone is apparently blind and couldn't tell his ace was struggling in the aftermath.

How this guy continually avoids being canned is beyond me.
