Morphing Matheson into Hutson in 2 years is gonna help the team so much

Even being smaller, he isn't a tire fire in the D zone like Matheson
And the only thing Matheson does 'well' is the PP, ..... and Lane will blow him out of the water in that department lol

So there is absolutely 0 point to extend Matheson obviously

LD's of future will be Guhle and Hutson
And LD3 will be a battle royal of several qualifiable prospects already in the system, Xhekaj, Struble and a 3-4 other guys, it's crazy lol

Smith won't amount to a lot. Just my opinion. I'd prefer Benson every day and twice on Sunday. Leonard is harder to predict. Sometimes players like him turn out to be nothing more than really good 3rd liners. I actually think Perreault was clear best value based on where he was picked.

But only time will tell for sure
