For fans, players, and coaches, winning is fun. Kliff is winning. Here is the downside. He goes to Chicago for HC with expectation he helps Caleb become great. If he fails, and JD progresses he is done. Or he could take another year with JD. build. Win. It is important. Sometimes more important than the money. If I am him (and I am not) I would stay another year.

Hope KK stays. He’s been great. I was worried about the hire, but he made the necessary adjustments to stay relevant in the NFL.

He will stay unless he gets offered a job he wants more. The OC role suits him, though. HC might be Peter Principle in his case.

Yes he is. Very good point. I think thru 2027 or so?
around that. And to be fair it was brought up on the John Keim report but yeah basically Keim thinks KK leaving is very unlikely because he's already being paid to not head coach the Cardinals. There would in his opinion be no reason for him to be a head coach again

Plus he seems to like it here working with Jayden

One thing I'm worried about is if he leaves how the succession would go. When Dan Quinn lost Kyle Shanahan to SF that's when he struggled in Atlanta. Of course he says he's learned from that

The NFL is so dumb sometimes.

Waving goodbye to a player as you score? Unsportsmanlike.
Paying tribute to a HOF player with a "dunk" over the goalpost? Illegal.
The entire defense running to the endzone and performing a skit after a meaningless interception? Tweet-worthy.
I'll always rememaber watching Hard Knocks last year in season when the refs told Tyreek Hill not to do the peace sign that week

"But I'm just spreading world peace"

Nobody liked my idea which was just change the name to the Redshins. Everything fits - fight song etc - it’s a one letter change. Conceptually it changes “skin” to “socks”. The team could just say we wanted to make sure our brand couldn’t be construed as offensive by anyone, which it isn’t, no one is out here protesting in the streets, but we’re just making sure. Everyone would have hated it at first but eventually forgottten. The original brand could’ve survived largely intact.

But alas, we got Commanders, tried to keep the color scheme, and couldn’t come up with a logo. It’s not great but they just need to fix the jerseys. If they win, it’ll all be fine anyways.
