If Woody Johnson’s 18 yr old kid is really running the show, I don’t see them hiring an old head. I’d take Rex Ryan over Rivera in a heartbeat if forced to choose. First choice would be neither one.

Rivera is going to pull the same stunt wherever he lands. He'll sell ownership on a 4-5 year rebuild and after 2-3 years claim he's only gotten started because it took him that long to clear out the old roster and habits.

He'll bring in all his old friends from his last few teams, and they'll turn the franchise into a "family" compound where the jobs of the people at the top are the biggest priority.

Winning will be a bonus byproduct that may or may not come as a result of the "process" of finding the right "character" guys.

I imagine this trick won't last more than 3yrs in any big market like NY, though. Not with the fans and media there.

Yeah, I forgot that with the Green Bay loss to the Vikes, we just need to win on Sunday to get 6th - don't need help from the Bears (which I don't think is coming). Changes the calculus some.

Still thought JD took a lot of punishment on that last drive, and that his body could use a break - but there is definitely something to play for in Dallas
"Tired"

was the first word out of his mouth after being asked how does it feel to win the game and go to the playoffs

Here's pics of what's left of my 1984 ball if anyone wants to take a scroll thru memory lane, there's 45+ autographs on it; interestingly there's a handful who wouldn't make the roster (Babe Laufenberg anyone? lol) so it was probably signed by/around Aug. 15 before more cuts would happen by Gm.1; I think they're all ID'd except for 2 or 3

This is great

My pop has a white football signed by all the '87 (or '91) Skins

Problem? My pop put it on his shelf and was not kept properly and the signatures are barely visible ...

Pete Cronan??

Cronan the barbarian!

One practice someone had a cardboard stand up of Joe Pa….showed it to Pete, who promptly rained fists upon it. Lol

Question is: are they considering him just for coach or are they considering letting him "buy the groceries," too?

If it's the first, that's just dumb. If it's the latter, it's lethally stupid.

I thought this was really cool (after hearing what Mariota said). Jayden took that big shot and was f**king exhausted - almost looked like he was gonna crash on Mariota’s shoulder.

“Stand up, Get your Air…Go Win us the Game.” *sports movie chills*

Great moment, but Weinstein’s screaming all the time is putrid. Can’t listen to that crap for more than 30 seconds…so hokey.

Is coach Ron just a Rooney Rule interview and would we get a comp pick if someone hires him?

If hes not expired under the comp pick rule it would be 2 3rds.

They're coming for him. We (I) always knew, if Kliff gets hired away from us, it's because JD and the offense performed really well. And it's happening. Plus, isn't this tampering? Can CW actually say this stuff?

Yep. Called this weeks ago. Told I was silly, by some ppl. I could easily see this.

Which is fine. I’d thank KK for all his efforts and move on to the next OC
