Weird game. Lots of good, but too much bad.

JD not as crisp as usual, but too many brutal drops. Run D has been better, but BSJ is still a Commander-killer.

This is the kind of game we'd lose most of the last 25 years. This team feels like it's going to win it.

Finish strong!

BSJ man. For a guy who can’t cover, you’d think at least when he’s there he can make the play. We need an upgrade over him even at CB#2. He should be nothing more than a nickel.

They're 15th in the league in points against. Last year they were dead last, by a massive amount. WTH do you expect in one year?

He's getting a result better than the sum of the parts just by running a basic defense that everyone understands and works cohesively in. That's not meant as a complaint. You have a lot of young and low/moderate skill players. Why try to have them to more than they can?

Last few years I was certain the defense was not getting the results it could. Now? It's hard to imagine this set of players doing better than this as the norm. It's a coaching triumph.

And JDR should never work at the DC level again

BSJ has absolutely zero ball skills. He easily could have gotten a hand in there. I’m not sure there is anything he really does at an even average CB 2 level.
