The fact that he tried fo quickly stop himself (albeit too late) fells me he knew. I’m sure they have something built into the play so they know. My take is that he was overzealous in trying to sell the run. Which again goes back to the lack of composure, discipline, what we’ve you want to call it.I don’t know man. The way Romo described it the play was an RPO based on whether a certain defender blitzed or not. How the OL on the other side of the guy the decision is keyed off of is supposed to know which one it is I have no idea. But Cosmi’s first step or two seemed like run blocking ones.
Sure it is unfortunate it would have been for a TD but that seems like a complicated play to try to block and not mistakenly get too far downfield.
He is definitely not 100% but these are catchable ballsJD looks just a little off... maybe missing practice hurts?
I'm at 4 clear drops, not including that last one through Ertz's hands. He is definitely not 100% but these are catchable balls
That would have been a very tough catch for Ertz in all fairness. But yes 3 clear drops.I'm at 4 clear drops, not including that last one through Ertz's hands.
You have to love it when the OC outsmarts themself. What a stupid play call by CHI! Hand-off to a back-up lineman?!
