Another day at the office for Varsho. 0 for 3 with 3 ks. Now batting .194. Sick

Glad we only have up the number 1 prospect for him and another player who is way better then him in Guriel.

What crippled this team was Springer, Bichette, Kirk, Kiermaier and Vladdy in the first month of the season.

The starting pitching hasn't been as great as last year, but it's been serviceable. The offense just doesnt put up enough runs.

Had the offense been better, the bullpen wouldnt be the other focus point either, because they wouldnt have to be relied upon without any margin of error.

LOL, the spreadsheets just couldn't wait to put Springer back in leadoff... And WTF with Bichette in cleanup?

Yup. Unless something has changed, analytics likes the best OBP batting first. That would be Hprwitz and the best hitter in the lineup batting 2nd. That would be Vladdy.

The top four for me with tonight's lineup would be

Horwitz
Vladdy
Springer
Bo

It was more of a comment in jest, just because they stuck with him for so long at leadoff when he was ineffective, that only after a few games of looking better they put him back up.
 
Pain-ya

Was slated to make the trip to Seattle from Nanaimo for the Seattle series but came down with an awful case of Covid today. Not happy about the Covid but it does get me out of going down there, not the worst season to miss that series
