Reading that they’re in better shape than same time last year, my first thought was duh, they just played thru the finals.

But then I remembered they played thru the finals the year before too.

And then I remembered the partying this year, which certainly wasn’t a boost to anybody’s fitness levels, fans included.

Then I remembered reading that Ek actually worked out this summer. That flipped the scales completely, figuratively and literally.
