If I didn't see that clip for myself I would be inclined to say that you were just making sh*t up. But nope - it was just another in the long line of examples of Jerrah rambling on and on and on about absolutely nothing. I used to think that once Stephen took over the reins of the team that things would slowly get back to normal but for the last few years even Jerrah's kid is starting to sound like an imbecile. :banghead:
Dude is hilarious, especially comparing his decisions making about being "all in" to Mahomes play style.. no one is buying his BS ..people not showing up at camp when that was HUGE.

Don't know if Dallas has a plan. Lance, not sure if he's going to show much this pre-season to make them think he could be their guy next season.

Maybe the Cowboys realize they blew their chances the past 2 seasons given how the cap charges for Dak are setup in 2024 and 2025. Not sure what is worse? No QB or more of the same old? LV moved off the same old with Carr and the replacement wasn't good and they are a question mark at QB. Minny, same with Cousins. But, at least they drafted a QB that they hope can do the job, if not this year, then next in McCarthy. Wash opted not to pay Cousins all those years ago and have gone through a bunch of guys since and just drafted Daniels at #2 OA.

wtf is this dynamic kickoff

I thought ESPN was going to change their graphics this year. They look awful.

Was that just for the college football?

feels like there will be a lot of flags and game delays due to refs sorting out the new rule
Well, at least it gets kickoff returns back into the game. With only a 5 yard difference between that mass of humanity, you eliminate the 45-50 yard run up the cover team has from their own 35 before contact with the returner at the other 15-20 yard line, plus all of the contact with the blocks between that distance.

Cover team needs to remain disciplined and stay in their lanes. One good juke by the returner or a missed tackle, and there is no second wave to make the tackle.

Looks weird as f*** with everybody all squished together on kickoff
you profess to be an ardent supporter of watching spring football, and you’re unfamiliar with these kickoffs?

Would hope the NFL reviews the HOF game and identify guys leaving early on the cover team as something they need to nail down. Now, would that just either move the LOS up 5 yards after the play, a re-kick, with the K backed to the 30 from the 35 or would that push the cover team back 5 yards?
Don't let it get out of hand like they did with the OT seemingling moving well in advance of the ball being snapped like we saw last season early and throughout the year.

It’s a work in progress. This is the most significant procedural rule change they’ve made in ages.

Saw the MaAfee clip where he said the NFL comtemplated using 3 whistles on the play, one to signal the to the K that they were ready, 2nd when the ball is caught or hits into the landing zone, thus the cover team can then move, and 3rd for when the play ends, but everyone is just used to the 2 whistles and they didn't want to confuse the players.

You need officials on both sidelines having to watch upwards of 35 yards to see when the ball is caught/lands while then seeing whether any of the cover guys leaves a split second early. Probably only going to catch anything too blatant. That's way harder than watching the ball getting snapped and the OT who is within 3 yards of the ball move early.

The Eagles apparently keep track of stats during training camp practices, and apparently Jalen Hurts can set a team record for consecutive throws without an interception as he is within 15 of a mark that is somewhere in the 150’s. Potential history in the waiting tomorrow morning.

Preseason games start this Thursday
Starters are not expected to play until the final game. Unless you've got a new coaching staff and/or new QB, you typically wouldn't then risk your starters.

but, I believe in getting your guys as ready as possible and playing through to the first series of the 2nd half in the final game does make sense. Have to be ready to play 4 Quarters and perhaps in humid weather depending on where your September games are going to be played. If you are traveling to Miami, Jax, Ten, TB, CAR and even the Northeast, have to be prepared for the weather conditions.

Poor sample. Final year of his rookie contract as well. Going to make free agency tough for the guy.

Hurts only threw 11 passes yesterday, so the record of 157 consecutive passes without an interception was on the line for today.

The record has now been surpassed. A new mark has been set by Jalen Hurts, just an incredible moment in training camp. Historic stuff down at the NovaCare facility today.
