This is actually a really good move for Hartford.

Petan is not a NHL player but he's been a very good AHL player for a bit now.

Knowing that Drury offered 1st rounder and Kakko for Guentzel, i feel like Drury is now looking more at a hockey trade for a player with 2 or 3 years left with a similar package. Buchnevich perhaps, or Sharongovich. Maybe even Tuch.
