I'm a huge fan of Berard but let's be honest he's not gonna get a chance here this year. He is the future tho.
Edstrom who is older and bit more mature/bigger won't even sniff the playoffs most likely.

If the Rangers get two/three rounds in we're likely going to have guys banged up or injured and maybe someone in the bottom 6 not performing very well or the team might need more physical presence. I think it was a good idea for the Rangers to give both Edstrom and Rempe good looks even if we don't end up using them in the playoffs.
