There’s no situation where the rangers move on from Goody before this years postseason.
If they feel like he can be replaced internally for a fraction of the cost, he’ll be moved in the offseason…
The playoffs is where he’s made his bones and that contract….
There’s no way he doesn’t get another shot at the playoffs with this group

He’s done absolutely nothing in the playoffs for the Rangers, why would it be any different this season? He needs to be off the roster ASAP.

Medicare prospects and Bunting who is terrible defensively and more of a cap dump. Pretty sure Drury can dig up more Hunter Skinner type prospects that no one cares about and its probably a net positive not having Bunting in the deal. I dont even want Guentzal but that return was terrible.

JK looks like he may end up going to Carolina

Guentzel ends up in Carolina for a lot less than what was rumored to be offered by the Rangers.
