if you want Gallagher to be an attacking midfielder giving you creative energy, you're gonna be bummed. but if you want him to be a guy who presses high, wins a lot of challenges, and can get the ball to guys who are better with it? there are few as good as him.

like, it's not a clean one-for-one stylistically, but kante is not a bad style comp for gallagher.

He was already starting for Arsenal's u18 team and also getting some minutes at u21. Pretty sure he's trained with the first team a handful of times as well. If anything, he's probably got more players ahead of him at United.
