Dodgers have a wildy better prospect pool than the Astros though
The Dodgers #8 and #22 prospects per MLB.com
That seems a bit...smaller than most were expecting.
Maybe the Astros were just dumb after all.
Improvement. They could use the same players they have. They don’t need an upgrade at SS or 2nd for sure.
The jays moved out over 60 million in original contracts. Crazy.Toronto Blue Jays 2024 Trade Deadline Summary.

Fangraphs has both teams getting a 50 FV and 45 FV. The Jays getting Wagner is a bit of a bonus, but I think the deals were almost identical, which is crazy considering the seasons the two guys are having.Dodgers have a wildy better prospect pool than the Astros though
He was talking about the deadline to sign YesavageNo, the deadline was 6pm ET today.
Interesting but that's kind of what I meant that even though they were further down their prospect rankings they would still be very solid prospects.Fangraphs has both teams getting a 50 FV and 45 FV. Oops, my mistake. I apologize. He was talking about the deadline to sign Yesavage
Bo has had a bad year year but his track record is very good so he’s fine at SS. He’s one of the better SS in the league.Improvement. They could use the same players they have.
Now we just need to re-sign Vladdy. Go hard after his buddy Soto in free agency.
Soto would make the singular most downstream impact on our roster, but it's for that reason the Yankees will likely give him what whatever he wants.Either Soto or Santander and Corbin Burnes would be lovely. Not cheap but doable.
Amazing deadline, the only one I’m truly sad to see go is Jansen.Overall, damn impressive trade deadline for the Blue Jays.
