IKF trade was the only one that the Jays made this deadline period where they sent out more surplus value than they got in return.





I can’t imagine they’ve updated their model to account for either of IKF or McAdoo’s values. Both seem fairly underrated.

Dodgers have a wildy better prospect pool than the Astros though
Fangraphs has both teams getting a 50 FV and 45 FV. The Jays getting Wagner is a bit of a bonus, but I think the deals were almost identical, which is crazy considering the seasons the two guys are having.

Interesting but that's kind of what I meant that even though they were further down their prospect rankings they would still be very solid prospects.

So the Jays only got 1 pitching prospect back from all that trade activity? Yarbrough not included as he is 32...

I love the deals they made, just a surprised they didn't get more arms.
