Blue Jays Discussion: 2024 Season - Complete without a great title in keeping with the performance

I would have moved Martinez+Horwitz+pitching prospects for Luis Arraez, which seems like a good offer for the Marlins. That said, the Kiermaier contract extension may have made such a move economically unviable if the Jays are at their maximum salary threshold.

Padres are weird, trading prospects for players they dont need.

They are very similar to the Jays. Similar record, underperforming top guys and some struggles on the pitching side.

So Chapman has a .642 OPS and leads the league in errors, but he also has a 0.8 bWAR? hmm.

still can't believe they renovated the stadium to feature more cement. Fans hae complained for decades there is too much cement.

Well here's a name I completely forgot about
Could be cool if Sanchez is still good and can get into some games

Chapman was always overpaid. Has some power and a strong arm. He's getting paid a lot for supposedly good third base defence. Good to see Jays not chase him. 3y/$54M is insane.

His bat gets worse every year and now looks like his defence is gone too.

Amazingly, Giants keep playing him clean up. lol

And those stats are actually worse than they really are because in the second game of the season he went 3/5 with 1 2B, 2 HR and 5 RBI.

Take that one lucky game away and his batting stats are basically #9 hitter quality.

What is the overall feeling on the stadium renovations?

Am I the only one who really doesn't like the new look? I know its a small thing, but I wish they'd have kept the seats blue.
