I can't help but react with a laugh because the guy is so comically bad. I mean, you couldn't write a fiction character as bad as him.

Not to defend Hernandez, but it looks to me that he wasn't motioning that he swung, he was motioning that when he was starting to swing the bat the ball hit it and was a foul tip.

Which didn't happen either, so regardless it was an asinine call. But I'd like to think not even he is that bad to actually think Torkelson swung.

But seriously...where is the accountability for the umpires? Can't believe after many years or bad calls after bad calls, there is no review of his performance.
