Pay > Dave

I think Pay is the PBP in Portland. Whichever one does that is pretty good

It’s a conventional DOB/Youk broadcast we are “missing out” on here. I’ll probably enjoy this one more, at least they’ll be excited and have emotion
our AA Ladies are only three innings....

There was a time when the Red Sox being swept at Fenway was a rarity. Not anymore. This one was just about expected.

Piss poor showing in every aspect of the game. Fifth inning killed them today. Up 4-0, Houck walks the first hitter. Terrible. Single, then another walk. To a guy hitting .156 who was trying to make an out (bunting). Next, a grounder Casas. Takes the lazy out instead of throwing home for the force. Gives up the run and takes off the DP possibility. Fly out to left, O'Neill sends up a balloon to home, allowing another run to score and the other runner to go to third. That guy scores on a sharp single to left, probably wouldn't have scored if still on 2nd. Bad pitching, bad fielding, bad baseball.

Sox need 3 bombs to get 5 runs. The usual 10 K's. Hit into 3 DP's, 2 by Duran! And a horrible baserunning gaffe by Yoshida, thrown out at 3rd base by 15 feet.

But I'm looking forward to watching the Sox play twice tomorrow. Twice the fun.

There's reasons to actually be optimistic heading into the offseason, but that'll do it for this season./

Typical shitty Red Sox August killing potential playoff hopes.

If they just flip a switch and do the exact opposite of what they've been doing for the past four months, surely they'll make a playoff run

Yoshida getting caught halfway between 2nd and 3rd hurt what could of been a big inning. Striking out all day long doesn't help either.

Atmosphere for a midday summer game wasn't that strong either

History being made today at Fenway with potential more weather effecting the game today.

Would be huge to get a W in both games. Quite honestly it's likely needed if we want to keep any hope alive
