Neither of their bottom six lines has looked nearly as effective as that Gourde line. That's why I'm skeptical they will be able to continue and they'll need the big guys to get it going early asap.

It's not like I'm ever heavily invested in the rest of the playoffs when Tampa is out, but it's incredible how hard it is to care even one bit when we're approaching the end of June and there's multiple two day breaks in the series.

We're basically getting to July hockey and it's ridiculous. I have never been so apathetic to a playoff in my life because of how long this is taking
Start October 1st
End May 30th or 31st and no one freaks out about the shooty hoops
League management has a month to prepare for free agency, the draft is in the meantime
I don't understand what's so hard. Start and end your seasons earlier. Take a league mandated bye week if you need to and like 4 days for the all star game. Fold it into 2 1/2 weeks or so for the Olympics

Florida definitely freaking out right now, I'm going to love it if they choke. Edmonton has clearly figured some things out and have all of the momentum. If they hold on to win this game, and score first in game 7, I can see it leading to a blowout win. It might already be, the pressure is entirely on Florida at this point and they aren't handling it well.

Exactly. Horseshoe fell out of their ass and looking at the refs with arms up and bamboozled faces isn't cutting it. When you're getting two goal swings on the nightly and then it stops, yeah, it's only a matter of time.

Great performance from Edmonton's supporting cast tonight. Skinner has been completely different all playoffs after game 3 in every series. Big pressure on Florida and they have handled it poorly thus far.
