Because WR doesnt win you football games and neither does a rotating cast of old/average QBs.

An elite QB can make a shit group of WRs look good (Pat Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady). Not the other way around....

Well Tim Hasselbeck who did not like Mac all that much really likes him so he would know more then me

My view on Maye though is he has size and arm - can scramble and his family and background is supposedly outstanding. He’s like Trent Frederic lol

But how accurate is he and how quick does he process

He lost Josh Downs to Colts and seemed like he didn’t trust wr group and was hesitant

My liking is all based on people I respect and know more then me on this

I do like Fields though - and a 3 to Bears IF your guy gone and trade back for a haul is enticing

Everything the Patriots are saying gives me the vibe that they like JJ McCarthy. Of the top 6 qbs, he's probably the guy who needs to sit the most, he's tough and has a good arm. If he tests well athletically his hype may go into overdrive.
