By Wednesday Diaz still threw 29 pitches in 5 days. For the most part the Mets have gotten the big outs when they have needed them. They do need to start throwing strikes and stop walking guys. Going to be hard to win 3 more games in this series giving up 8 walks a game.

This is why the Mets held Quintana back to game 4 and are only starting him once this series. They were aware LA batters do not chase nearly as much as Philly did. He's more of a guy who takes advantage of free swinging or younger lineups.
