If the Avs get Guentzel (which is probably unlikely), Gulyayev is the prospect that would be included.

I think I read that Walker is coming in today but Mitts only tomorrow... don't know about that but the team is still in TDL mode - so maybe tomorrow after the TDL ?

They said yesterday/last night, that both were to be here today, for practice, and be available to the media. I doubt that means a PC, but just routine media access after practice.

That's pretty costly but basically our answer to an asshole like kolesar. When shitheads like that and/or e.kane start pushing our guys around, he'll be there to step-in. He might not win or whatever but he'll be there.

I don't think we need another top end forward, could really use an upgrade over JJ, that would be my next swing, find a vet 2 way defenseman.

I like the player and I like the fit I just don't think it's a 3rd pick well spent considering it's the only position we didn't need help. Literally.

Plus, getting a 2026 3rd back in another deal over the next couple years is probably likely.
Like someone else in the Duhaime Trade Thread said (Sorry, I can't recall who said it) it might be an indication that LOC's injury is worse than expected.

That was assuming Flower was involved… but still I wouldn’t be shocked if it was a precursor to another move. Still, trade deadline rumblings often come to nothing.

Mack alluded to the loss of Dermy in a post game interview yesterday. Perhaps CMAc thinks he needs to get tougher for the playoffs, or at least have some options.
Again I think he's a good fit but I'd rather have a 4C, LD or goalie.
