Well here comes another day of crickets from CMac. At this point I'm convinced he doesn't even know that there is a trade deadline.

I get what you’re saying and it like is GMs posturing, but Henrique only has a 10 team NTC, so I’d be surprised if Edmonton is one of those 10 teams.

Edmonton is one of the two or three most common teams on NTC lists leaguewide.

Yeah. One could easily theorize that stand offs across the league is the reason behind all these rumors being planted by GMs.

Take Edmonton focused on Henrique. Henrique has a NTC. If theres footage or maybe a direct quote from him saying hes open to a trade there, OK. But reporting hes receptive without it coming from him...kind of starts to seem like it might be coming from PV.

The rumored available players certainly does not create much of a buzz. Not many if any great fits for the Avs IMO.

True. Rumoured players so far meh for us.

I bet this deadline is a snoozefest around the league.

I think the opposite... this is one of the few deadlines over the last 10-15 years where most of the anticipated moves haven't happened 4-5+++ days prior. Last year at this point Kane, ROR, Horvat, Eklund, Schenn, Engvall, McCabe, Jeannot, Meier, Nino, Orlov, etc had already been dealt.

Seems to me the next ~52 hours are going to be pretty busy.

I think I good, pretty relaxed. I already know CMac will make incompetent moves that do nothing of true value to help the team. Setting the bar low and not getting my hopes up makes it better if CMac actually manages to do something.

They obviously know we need a center, so I assume some center is coming. We'll see if they are more of a #2, #3, or #4, which I think all of those options are kind of on the table.
