Just watched Okposo lift the cup. I absolutely wanted Edmonton to win it for McDavid and his epic playoff run but so happy for Kyle too

I must be in the minority. I'm happy for Okposo because he's an ex-Isle and seems like a good guy. But very honestly, when he was on the Isles he frustrated the heck out of me with his play (falling down, drop passes at the blueline, etc.). So I can say way-to-go, but I'm not really any happier for him than I am for OEL and other late-arrivers, and I was pretty surprised that he got a turn with the Cup before Ekblad and some other more senior/important players.

I’m a little confused by the Edmonton crushing defeat narrative. Boo hoo they were one shift one shot one goal from the cup. Did they forget they were on the verge of being swept in the finals? They forced a game 7, that was all gravy at that point. Down 3-0, lucky to even get to a game 7. Florida would have had the crushing defeat, not Edmonton.
