I feel sorry for the floridians who travelled here. The weather is f***ing miserable.

What? It's f***ing great for the time of the year

This is what it usually looks like this time of year

I might have 1 ticket for each game left, great but expensive seats (between 220 and 380 Euros), not looking for profit. PM me in case anybody is interested

Weather is normal this time of the year. We say "erottaa jyvät akanoista", which is in English "separate the wheat from the chaff". It's good to show the authentic weather where the players are made. It includes not only midnight sun in summer but also these rainy days in November and minus 35 degrees in February.

In Helsinki we normally don't get snow so early. Tampere might have but here in south we are lucky if we have snow at Christmas. Of course it can happen but no guarantees.

So excited to watch this series from Finland! Even more excited for our fellow Fins/adopted Fins that get to see the game @Mogo

Got a fun 24 hours of hockey ahead, game starts at 2pm, then taking the kiddo with my beer league team to the Brampton Steelheads game and then waking up and awaiting the 11am puckdrop for tomorrow's game!

Bonus: you friend mogo does not get to watch a sweedish wannabe A. Boqvist QB their devastating PP. Might be easy to get an autograph if you are around though, as he should have plenty of free time!

Uhh since this is one of the very first games I've been able to watch in full this season thanks to the schedule in European time this weekend...

How long has Balinskis been playing in the 1st PP unit?

Also he is the youngest goal scorer in modern NHL history (still).

Yes absolutely.

A record that he could technically hold forever since he was born a day or two before his age-draft cutoff, AND he scored in the first game of the season…

The only way probably would be to have the NHL start the season a bit earlier with the new CBA, and another stud born right on that cutoff ! Or those rules changing…

But yeah, technically will be pretty hard to beat ! :P

I know right!

And btw… You pretty much knew right after that how much this kid would ever mean for this franchise !

Him, a teenager, wacking at the puck in the blue paint in the dying seconds if my memory serves me correctly… You knew he would do everything in his power to get that goal.

What an amazing player, what an incredible captain… What a Tallon’s pick !

Okay, we all know it was Kekelainen ! lol

Edit: Okay, it was with 10 minutes left hehe… Remembered it was a bit chaos in the paint, and a big pile with Barky still scoring with the spin-move. Don’t know why I even have the souvenir of it being dramatic with the goalie pulled though… lol did he scored a kinda similar one against Dallas with the our goalie out ? Remember Dallas like yesterday.

Edit: Boyes and Gilbert crashing the net, like what the actual fuuuck ? … Huberdeau on his ass behind the net… lol
