It was amazing weekend. My dream have always been that I would see NHL on live and 1.11.2024 I saw it in my hometown. I'm so grateful that Florida and Dallas visited here. And I saw my idol, Barkov, on ice and he played very well and I think that all of us in Tampere admire him.
I hope so that Florida come back someday to Tampere!

Thank you,
by Camik from Tampere

Still amazed they went 2-0-0 vs the Stars on a back to back. No OT wins either.
This team, if healthy, is a legit threat for a cup repeat. And that's with still a TBD where Montour used to eat minutes.

The signings of Greer and J Boqvist have been huge, respectfully, replacing guys gone to free agency. Greer may be no Lombo for his honey badger play style but he's been very active and putting up good 4th line point totals.

I don't know how Zito does it.

And we got a glimpse of Nosek in our lineup... He looked so good defensively and the FO win before Greer's goal was pure skill and experience.

Seeing Reino live was so impressive. The guy ALWAYS makes the right play!

And when watching live in the Arena, you see what value Ek still has and will have for a long time. When you ask a coach what he needs from a Dman, the answer is never because he is so fast, or because he has a great shot, or defensive awareness. It's "he eats a ton of minutes". That's what Ek does - literally and figuratively. You can put him out there at any time or situation, and he finds a way to contribute. The thing that actually bothers me about him more than anything else is that he takes quite many bad penalties. Otherwise we should be happy to have him and hopefully can keep him at a decent price.

In Fridays game (was a bit drunk) every time Ekblad got those shots off that were re-directed I first thought he scored
