There are usually a few trades tomorrow morning before the next day starts.
I think organizations have some talks today, discuss it amongst themselves tonight, and then finalize tomorrow morning before the draft opens back up.
We will see if we get any this year.

If Pesce actually is signing here they probably have to trade Marino tomorrow because that 8 team NTC starts on July 1 and his agent can probably build the list out in a way where he could make it really hard for the Devils to trade him.

My buddy originally from Montreal, is with his family in Taiwan right now. They were doing shots an hour ago celebrating getting Demidov and Hage. He is absolutely over the moon right now

Not super well read on the 2025 draft so not sure how good the top of the draft is. We all know it'll be at the top of the draft. Upside is Chicago sucks and you get a lottery win. Downside the pick ends up around 4-6 again and you have to start developing your franchise cornerstone a year later. Can't say I blame Columbus

I guess it would've depended on the other pick. If they had thrown in 34, I probably would've done it for the chance to land Hagens next year and still had a shot at a decent prospect at the top of the 2nd tomorrow. Can't imagine they would've dangled 18 as well as a 25 unprotected 1st for 4.

That other pick would have to be really good to even consider it, even if the Hawks were bottom three there’s no guarantee next year’s first is even as good as 4 OA, much less waiting a year for it.

All it said was ‘a’ pick, I assume if it was 18 we’d have heard that specifically.
The post here was earlier this week.
A lot of the media guys steal ideas from here to generate content. They don't really care how reliable it is, as long as its content.

If they dangled 18 and their 1st next year i would have taken it potentially, but if the extra pick was just later rounds then I think Columbus was right to just take their guy
