Congrats on another strong 1st round
got a core piece on both sides of the puck

I can't see a team moving up in the 1st to select a goalie.Do we need to select a goalie so bad that trading 53 isn't on the table?
makes senseAnaheim traded 31+58. I think our picks had the higher value

I mean selecting one at 53I can't see a team moving up in the 1st to select a goalie.
I don't think we do but at 53, any sort of thought process is justifiable on who you take at that pick. It's a lottery ticket so just pick someone and go if you're going to make a pick past like 35-40.Do we need to select a goalie so bad that trading 53 isn't on the table?
I'll extend the same to the Ducks. Very good picks that are going to be tough to play against.Congrats on another strong 1st round

I was telling my wife we need to trade up and get solberg, guy is a beast…. So I’m happy we did it and got him.I'll extend the same to the Ducks. Very good picks that are going to be tough to play against.

Sennecke is good, maybe a bit of a reach but hopefully he continues his development curve.
Grrrr...It's very uncomfortable how nobody is truly unhappy with their second pick. I'm not used to this. Someone should fake outrage over it.
20 years ago, we would have picked Letourneau with #11.Letourneau was one I liked as an option at 33 but it increases the odds that someone like Emery or Elick or Badinka is there at 33. Any of them would be great picks at 33. Even someone like Mews that has been falling.
Yup, agreed. All are RHD which would be perfect. Though on Mews, I'd gamble and hope for 53.Letourneau was one I liked as an option at 33 but it increases the odds that someone like Emery or Elick or Badinka is there at 33. The odds are pretty good that one will be there but I wouldn't be surprised at a run of them coming up either.20 years ago, we would have picked Letourneau with #11.
Hard to imagine us not taking one of those RD at 33.
That really threw me for a loop for a second. Must have been on the Just for Men and then just said f*** it and went stark white (with his pale skin it's even more jarring).Holy hell, what happened to Luc Robitaille? He went gray.
