Talk about conspiracies! If he turns that card over and there is a giant Sax with a fedora, sunglasses and smoking a cigarette I will absolutely lose my mind for so many reasons.

It'd be nice to win and move up, but not a huge deal this year. We need defense and there will be lots to choose from at #6. I'd also entertain trading back from #1 if we do win. Celebrini's a good player but not in the McDavid/MacKinnon/Matthews/Bedard tier of #1 overall forward picks, and we very much need defense.

I'm a Buffalo Sabres fan and I remember caring passionately about several draft lotteries in the last decade. This is not one of those draft lotteries.

i think the fans of this franchise are just looking for any sign that the days when we felt cursed as a franchise are over. So a lottery win means more than just a lottery win.

I thought those were good picks. Pronman had them in his top 10. Draft Analyst had them high on his list as well. I don't think think their year in the K this year is making us regret the selections. Personally, I welcome the size that is coming. We have been too small for too long.

If there is conspiracy, it is not in the Ernst & Young elements. It is in the inconsistency in the application of discipline by the league and the ever changing draft lottery rules that never ultimately result in an equitable distribution of the choice picks. Also too, it was created under the guise of eliminating tanking and obviously that hasn't worked. The model the PWHL uses is what they should move towards or just nuke it altogether and return to worst getting first.

I’m glad we drafted both.

It certainly felt like But was the more impactful Russian this year. I was pretty impressed with But with the limited info I have read and clips watched. I also think he is the better of the 2 picks currently. However, the Russian situation makes it incredibly hard to really know what you have in these guys but it is looking good so far.

John Buccigross shared a photo he took in the studio. He didn’t notice they were testing the display as part of rehearsal prep.

Hopefully they accidentally leaked the result. More likely they were just doing tests.

Supposedly those results were from the rehearsal and the actual lottery hasn't been done yet. We'll found out soon if that's actually the case.

I've always liked the Sharks so I'd be happy to see them get Celebrini while we get our choice of dmen.
