Freidman said its possible thats who they are looking at on the podcast. That makes people bet it making the odds change. Its not more inside info that that.

Talk about clumsy...Steven Ellis has Demidov at #2 and Lev at #3

From a pure talent perspective, we’re seeing one of the most creative, speedy, and offensively dominant forwards in quite some time. He’s been my No. 2 for most of the season and that won’t change.

I'm having a hard time understanding why Carolina would be pushing to get a top 7 pick with their current roster. Shouldn't they be pushing their chips in to try to win a Cup?

John Marino available. I would love him with Korchinski.

Vlasic-Jones
Korchinski-Marino
Del Mastro-Murphy

Not worth it. (right now)

Chicago has limited assets. They're better focused elsewhere.
Everyone has limited assets. Chicago may have the MOST limited assets. (maybe Calgary). Marino is 27. It allows you to come off of Murphy at the deadline, next summer, or the next deadline to recoup. Also you get a reliable player to help Korchinski grow.

I’m confused as to why CBJ would trade #4 for a bunch of picks. If that’s the case send them 18, 34, , 50, and Leafs 1st

Levshunov's ability to keep moving into higher leagues and excelling is impressive. His overall package is really well balanced. There is a good chance that he becomes a true #1D.

But I like Demidov's chances of being a Kaprizov caliber winger a lot more than I like Levshunov's chances of being more than the next Seth Jones.

Maybe Lev can turn into the next Drew Doughty. He won't move up to a higher league forever and who knows what some stability could do for his game. I just don't think that's the most likely outcome for him right now.
