Pretty similar. A bit smaller, maybe slightly faster at the same age but similarly sluggish. A bit less proven at the junior level, though he came on in the second half.

Protas was 38th in scoring in the USHL last season as a 17 year old. Only 7 guys ahead of him were the same age or younger (i.e., 16 or 17).

That may not mean a damn thing. You'd have to ask someone who knows more about the USHL and the players there than me.

Not as big, a tremendous setup man, plays the game smart. Need to work on his skating just like his brother did.
